Die Guidelines for the Definition of Managed Objects (GDMO) sind eine Spezifikation zur Definition von Managed Objects für das Protokoll CMIP in Telecommunications Management Networks.

GDMO ähnelt der Beschreibung der Management Information Base von SNMP: Beide stellen eine Hierarchie von Managed Objects dar und verwenden ASN.1 als Syntax.

GDMO ist definiert in den Normen ISO/IEC 10165 und ITU-T X.722.
