Comcast SportsNet California (CSN California) is a regional sports network that serves Northern California and parts of Oregon and Nevada. It is owned by Comcast and is member of the Comcast SportsNet.
CSN California is the cable home for the NBA's Sacramento Kings, the WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs, PASL's Stockton Cougars, and MLL's San Francisco Dragons. It also shows select games from Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes along with sister-network CSN Bay Area.[1] The network also carries programming related to the NFL's Oakland Raiders and the San Francisco 49ers.
CSN California also broadcasts many college games[1] that includes the University of California[2], St. Mary's College, UC Davis, the University of San Francisco, Pacific University, the University of Nevada and San Jose State. CSN California also covers Friday Night High School Football.[3]

CSN West launched in 2004 after Comcast won the television rights to the Kings; those games had been shown previously on pay-per-view and an alternate feed of SportsChannel Bay Area (now CSN Bay Area) at different times. The channel's name changed to CSN California in September 2008.

Comcast SportsNet California HD (CSN California HD) is a high-definition simulcast of CSN California. CSN California shows all Sacramento Kings games played at ARCO Arena in HD.
