Civic Party (traditional Chinese: 公民黨) is a pro-democracy and social democratic political party in Hong Kong. The Chinese name of the party is also short for "justice and democracy", which reflects the party's objective to create a "civilized, just and democratic society".

The party is part of the pan-democrats and holds beliefs similar to the Democratic Party.
The party was formed by members of the Article 45 Concern Group, student leaders and pro-democracy citizens primarily from the legal and academic professions. A preparative meeting was held on February 19, 2006. It lasted for about 8 hours. It decided the name of the party to be the Civic Party.
The Civic Party was officially founded on March 19, 2006. As of 2006, it is the fourth largest political party in council. Kuan Hsin-chi became the first chairperson and Audrey Eu became the first leader.
In February 2007, Civic Party legislator Alan Leong secured 132 nominations and became the first pro-democracy Chief Executive candidate in the history of Hong Kong.
The Party membership comprises six members of Hong Kong's Legislative Council, or Legco, which makes it the fourth largest political party in that body. They aim to be the ruling party of HK. As of April 2006, party membership is being limited to 109 members. The admittance of any new member needs to be backed by two other party members. In addition, a prospective member will have to complete local branch work as a trial member for a year before being inducted as an official member.
