感觉性失语症的症状是：听觉正常且病人看似有讲话能力，而且文法大致正确，但不能理解听到的话的意思；对于自己讲的话也同样不能理解。

此失语症患者讲的话看起来如下：

 I called my mother on the television and did not understand the door. 
 It was too breakfast, but they came from far to near. My mother is not too old for me to be young.

感觉性失语症是由听觉性语言中枢或韦尼克区受损引起的。
