Microsoft Dynamics is a line of business software made by Microsoft. It was previously known by the codename of Project Green. It replaces the previous family of Microsoft Business Solutions.

The public release of Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) to both the Microsoft Download Center and Windows Update was delayed due to incomplete compatibility between it and the Microsoft Retail Management System. The already released Windows Vista Service Pack 1 also contained this error, so its release through Windows Update was halted as well.[1][2] Microsoft promised a fix but gave no estimate on its completion; until that time Microsoft RMS users were recommended not to install the "service packs" until a "hotfix" (a bugfix or patch) was available.[3][4][5]
